Working at WCNY has been a great opportunity--I have learned so much about a TV station that I have grown up watching all my life. Writing for CC's Weekly Blog was a lot of fun and a great privilege.

Instead of writing about love for my first article for WCNY.org, I decided to write about all the great friendships from PBS Kids shows, both from the past and in the present.

This article discussed STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) Kits that were put together for families that lived in the Central New York area and where they could find them.

This article was themed around the show "Xavier Riddle" and discussed important Presidential-themed activities that families could do at home, both online and outside.

Out of all the articles, this one was my favorite one to write. Published a week after the 19th anniversary of Fred Rogers' death, this article discusses memorable moments from the show and how families can keep his memory alive for kids who didn't grow up watching the show.

Even though Arthur aired its final episode this past January, the moments and activities are still live on the official website.

My final article for CC Connects with an interview with the executive producer of Reading Buddies, Toni Ann Walsh. Reading Buddies is a Syracuse-produced show that teaches young children literacy and phoentics.

This article talks about Dr. Seuss' impact on children everywhere and the PBS Kids show inspired by the classic children's book, "The Cat in the Hat Knows a Lot About That"

This article is written about celebrity chef Pati Jinich and includes a recipe from the show "Let's Go Luna"
