Writing

I started writing for iPulse sophomore year and in that time, it became more than just a hobby. Now a college grad, I am hoping to pursue this and turn my writing into a career. As one of my favorite authors, F. Scott Fitzgerald once said "You don't write because you want to write something, you write because you have something to say."

I started writing for NewsHouse shortly after I started grad school at Syracuse University. I focused primarily on writing about campus events. From serious subjects like the 20th Anniversary of 9/11 to the Holiday Sale, I covered a wide range of topics and looking forward to continuing to write more.

I began working for WCNY in Syracuse in January 2022, writing a blog for the Education section of the WCNY website. In this blog, I talk about all things related to PBS Kids and include fun activities for parents to do with their children at home. From remembering Mister Rogers to talking about Palentine's Day, there are more articles to come.

Working with the Explore Charleston Tourism Board, I put together a website for kids visiting Charleston with their families. This project also acted as my graduate school capstone.

I started working as a J365 Producer for Morgan Murphy Media shortly after I graduated from Syracuse University in June 2022. I learned a great deal, including learning how to be a television producer. While I wrote over 79 articles during my time here, these are the articles that I consider to be my favorites.
